The Lower Yough at a Glance
- This river is recommended for: Families with Children 10 & Up, Beginning Rafters, Experienced Rafters
- The Lower Yough is Class III and IV, or more difficult to very difficult.
- What months does it run? The Lower Yough runs from March – October
- How long is the trip? The Lower Yough Trip runs for 7.5 miles. This usually takes approximately 3.5 hours.
- Will there be a guide in my boat? Yes there will be a guide in your raft, however, everyone is expected to participate by paddling.

The Middle Yough at a Glance
- This river is recommended for: Families with Young Children 5 & Up, Beginning Rafters, Beginning Kayakers
- The Middle Yough is Class: This Section is Class I and II. What does this mean?
- What months does it run? The Middle Yough runs from April – October
- How long is the trip? The Middle Yough Trip runs for 11 miles. This usually takes between 3.5 and 5 hours.
- Will there be a guide in my boat? During high water situations, a guide is in every boat. At normal water levels the guides are paddling beside you in kayaks. For a small fee you may add a guide to your raft during normal river levels.

The Upper Yough at a Glance
- This river is recommended for: Experienced Rafters 16 & Up
- The Upper Yough is Class: This Section is Class V. What does this mean?
- What months does it run? The Upper Yough runs from April – October
- How long is the trip? The Upper Yough Trip runs for 9.5 miles. This usually takes between 3.5 and 5 hours.
- Will there be a guide in my boat? Yes, on the Upper Yough it is required that a guide be in every single raft.
