The seasons come to life along the converted railway beds of the Great Allegheny Passage, a 318 mile system of biking and hiking trails. There are no tall buildings to obscure your view or traffic noise to block out the sights and sounds of Mother Nature.


The Great Allegheny Passage runs all the way from Pittsburgh to Washington D.C. Ohiopyle is lucky enough to have it go from end to end of our park along side the Youghiogheny River.   • The riverside trails are relatively flat, (approximate 3% grade) which makes for easy pedaling for all ages and athletic abilities.
  • The trails are marked every mile for your convenience. Ride as far as you like before returning to home base in Ohiopyle.
  • Arrangements can be made to return bikes after hours for evening rides.
