Explore White Water Rafting On Our Taste of the Yough Tour
Reserve the Lower Yough Taste of the Yough Tour to experience a smaller portion of the river without sacrificing adventure. This private trip travels down the first 1.5 miles of the 7.5 Lower Yough section. Your trip ends almost where it begins as you travel around the “loop” of the Ferncliff Peninsula within the Ohiopyle State Park. You’ll encounter plenty of white water splash along this section with solid class III rapids. Our experienced guides are in the boat, helping you navigate the best routes.
Choose either early morning or late afternoon for your excursion so you can combine your white water rafting experience with other Laurel Highlands attractions. Your Taste of the Yough trip includes raft (minimum of 4 people up to six people), paddles, life jackets, helmets, transportation back to check-in, guide in raft. Booking in advance is required. (Available on select days only.) We gladly accept reservations year round for rafting trips April-October.
Please expect to be on the water approximately 1 1/2 hours.

No. All activities run regardless of the weather conditions unless we deem conditions to be unsafe. River activities still go in case of thunderstorms as well. We monitor river conditions constantly. We reserve the right to reschedule any trip to an alternate section of the river or to a different river if conditions warrant. We may also change the length of the trip, raft size or number of guests per raft. If we must cancel a trip due to conditions, a full refund will be given.

6% convenience booking fee for all trips booked online

Please note that when you make a reservation, we forfeit the right to sell your spaces to others. Since we do not overbook our trips and trip size is limited we strictly enforce our cancellation policy.
You may receive a 90% refund if you cancel at least 15 days prior to trip. Refunds do not include the convenience fee amount for online booking as this is remitted to a Third Party processor. Reservations made less than 15 days prior to trip date are nonrefundable, once payment is received. We regret that we cannot make exceptions for personal emergencies, late arrivals, or inclement weather.
Please consider adding Trip Protection for greater flexibility in cancellations. See tab below.

Add trip protection for 10% extra on your rafting trip. Cancel up to 48 hours before with a full refund, minus the trip protection and booking fee. NOTE: TRIP PROTECTION CANNOT BE ADDED AFTER CHECKOUT. It doesn’t cover cancellations within 48 hours, late arrivals, no shows, or inclement weather.

We ask all guests to arrive promptly at the scheduled trip meeting time listed on your confirmation.
